Syrah Resources Phase III Graphite Anode Expansion

Syrah Resources is undertaking a Phase III expansion of its graphite anode material production facility in Vidalia, Louisiana. The project involves constructing six buildings and three power distribution centers on undeveloped land adjacent to the current site, installing specialized equipment, and aims to increase production capacity from 11,250 metric tons to 45,000 metric tons of active anode material used in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. The expansion includes an investment of nearly $587 million and is expected to create at least 100 new jobs after construction, along with 500 to 600 construction jobs during the build phase.
