The IPF component has been incorporated into the project to finance the analytical and technical activities within the Program, as well as the operational expenses of the PCU. The total cost of this component amounts to US $2 million. Currently, the operations ofthe Project Coordination Unit (PCU) are funded by another World Bank funded project Pandemic Response Emergency Preparedness ( PREP), which is scheduled to conclude on June 30, 2023. In order to ensure uninterrupted operations of PCU, the operational costs will be transitioned to the new IPF component of ASPIRE. The IPF component will encompass various expenses, including assessments, analytical work, independent verification of DLIs, coordination and communication with provincial counterparts, capacity building of MoFEPT, technical support for federal and provincial education authorities, and solarization of the PCU building. Additionally, the TA will facilitate consultancy services for research, review, and addressing gaps in digital content, evaluation of Teacher Training Program adoption and its potential impact on pedagogical practices, logistics support for international assessments, and the establishment of a functional national and provincial open-source data platform.
