Taka Pesa Waste Recycling Initiative

under implementation

Taka Pesa is a grassroots outreach program by The Recycler Limited in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, that incentivizes households to collect and separate recyclable waste in exchange for money. The project aims to reduce environmental pollution, create income streams especially for women, and promote long-term sustainability by transforming waste management into a decentralized, community-driven economy.
