This proposal aims to develop a slate of projects that strengthens our position as a key player in the European audiovisual landscape, aligning with the objectives of the Creative Europe Programme. By focusing on diversity in genres, formats, and audiences, our slate includes three feature films (Brûleurs, Les petites vieilles du 5B, Brussailes) and one short film (Like a Beast), each at various stages of development. These projects address universal themes such as migration, aging, solidarity, and ecological challenges while showcasing Europe’s cultural richness. Our strategy emphasizes collaboration with emerging talents and underrepresented production capacities, partnering with countries such as Latvia and Romania. These partnerships aim to foster cross-cultural narratives and leverage co-production opportunities for financial and creative synergy. We also prioritize innovation, particularly in animation, where Brussailes will explore cost-efficient 3D modeling techniques. By engaging audiences across multiple demographics—children, families, and adult cinephiles—we aim to broaden the cultural impact of our films. Our slate reflects a commitment to both artistic ambition and commercial viability, ensuring visibility in major international festivals and markets. The support of MEDIA is essential to achieving our goals of diversifying collaborations, scaling projects, and reinforcing our sustainability as a European production company.
