TalentBridge is a hybrid training and mentoring program designed to support emerging European filmmakers, particularly from low production capacity (LCC) countries, as they transition from short-form projects to sustainable careers in the audiovisual industry. Through a dynamic blend of in-person workshops and online training, the initiative provides early-career professionals with access to critical knowledge, mentorship, and international industry networks. Over 12 months, TalentBridge will deliver four in-person workshops embedded in key European film festivals—Clermont-Ferrand, Cannes, Vilnius (Baltic Pitching Forum), and Limassol (Cyprus ISFFC)—reaching up to 80 participants in person. These sessions are complemented by six online training and networking events accessible to a broader audience, allowing for cross-border collaboration and flexible learning. The program focuses on essential skill areas, including pitching, audience strategy, digital distribution, career progression, and emerging technologies such as AI and immersive media. It promotes inclusion and diversity, ensuring that at least 50% of in-person participants come from LCC regions. Participants will gain practical tools to position their projects and careers effectively within the European market. Run by T-Port Germany e.V. with leading European partners, TalentBridge builds on a tested pilot model and is grounded in industry best practices. It fosters long-term professional growth, strengthens industry integration, and supports MEDIA objectives through innovation, accessibility, and European added value.
