Description | Tallgrass plans to increase the generation capacity of some of its gas compressor stations in rural Ohio and Indiana by approximately 30 megawatts by installing three waste-heat-to-power plants directly onto its existing infrastructure. Each plant will produce 10 MW and occupy roughly 22,600 square feet. The plants will be built by Turboden and will integrate with an existing Turboden system commissioned by Tallgrass in Ohio in 2024, bringing the total waste-to-heat power output across multiple Tallgrass installations to over 46 MW. |
