The KIMLeVENT project will promote town twinning between Kimle (HU), Cartigliano (IT) and Gabcikovo (SK). In the project a twinning meeting will be organized, in the summer of 2025, which will provide an opportunity to strengthen the connections. In addition with the objectives of the call, the project will provide an opportunity for people from different cultural, gender and socio-economic backgrounds to exchange ideas, strengthen mutual understanding and tolerance. The project will build and strengthen a sense of belonging to Europe and to the European identity. In today's society, there is a need to strengthen intercultural dialogue by embracing a wide range of people from different socio-economic and gender backgrounds, from different countries and from different twin cities, that’s the main aim of project, and the need, what the project will reflect for. The project can benefit not only the direct participants but also the entire population of the participating twin municipalities. The joint results of the project, as well as the experiences and practical examples can be easily communicated, so it helps to reach a common heritage of the European Union and to the practical experience of diversity. Gender equality is taken into account during the planning of the project activities and plays a significant role in their implementation.
