planned

The City of Tampa approved a plan for the Tampa Bay Rays to relocate from Tropicana Field to a new stadium and mixed-use district in Hillsborough County. The project includes redevelopment of Hillsborough College's Dale Mabry campus as part of the mixed-use district, aiming to improve campus facilities, expand workforce development, and create curriculum and internship opportunities for over 45,000 students. The total project cost is estimated at about $2.3 billion, with public funding capped at roughly $976 million.
