It contains large kakortokite rock deposits rich in heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) such as Dysprosium, Terbium, and Yttrium, which are critical for aerospace, defense, electric vehicles, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. The project has relatively low levels of Uranium and Thorium, making it environmentally and politically attractive for Western supply chains. Critical Metals Corp (CRML) has secured 92.5% ownership of the project with strong governmental backing in Greenland. |
