Tangiers (El Hachef) drinking water supply project

This intervention relates to the Tangiers (El Hachef) drinking water supply project. This project is part of the long-term water supply program of the city of Tangier. It should contribute to: (i) meeting the additional demand in urban areas in order to maintain the level of consumption of 150l / d / person and (ii) to increase the rural water endowment from 15 to 50l / d / person. The main components of the project are as follows: A) extension of the Charf El Akab pumping station; (B) supply and installation of water supply pipes; C) provision of operating and maintenance equipment to the RAID; D) study and equipment for the exploitation of Charf El Akab aquifer; E) study of the master plan water of the city of Tangier; F) study of the master plan of electrification of the city of Tangier; and G) supervision and control of works.
