Tanweer Productions is the recently founded production arm of Tanweer Group, a company that has been active in distribution, release, post – production and dubbing for over 30 years, in Greece, Cyprus and the Middle East. As an independent production company, we collaborate with some of the best local writers, directors, producers & crew with the aim to develop and produce high-end-quality feature films and TV series for Greece and abroad. Our 2023 mini slate consists of three mini – series, whose stories we believe are adequate to travel as European co - productions. ‘‘Young Onassis’’ is a period, biopic drama that follows the Greek Croesus’ entrepreneurial rise to the top, ‘‘Plegma’’ is a transtemporal action - drama based on the true history of the Greek Psychical Research society from the 1930s to the 1970s, while ‘‘The Beauty’’ is a raw modern drama about a strikingly beautiful little girl who has to battle the side – effects of her natural gift while growing up as a refugee.
