Description

ECSIP-II aims to promote green and resilient recovery by fostering improved economic governance, industrial competitiveness, and reinforcing social inclusion. The Bank will continue supporting Tanzania’s Third Five-Year National Development Plan (FYDPIII) 2021/22-2025/26 through three components: (i) attaining fiscal sustainability; (ii) strengthening private sector competitiveness and climate smart industrial development; and (iii) enhancing socio-economic inclusion. The amount for the second year of the two-year programmatic operation USD 170 million (consisting of ADB loan of UA 98 million and ADF loan of UA 31million, equivalent to USD 129.1571 million and USD 40.85584 million, respectively). This will bring the total program cost to USD 277.8 million. Other Partners Involved: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
