Description | Canadian Gold Corp. received a $300,000 grant from the Manitoba Mineral Development Fund (MMDF), bringing total MMDF support to $900,000 since 2023. The funding supports advancement of the Tartan Mine near Flin Flon, Manitoba, where the company has invested approximately $12.7 million since 2012 and completed 33,668 metres of core drilling to expand the vertical extent of the resource. The company has optioned adjoining properties to consolidate the Tartan Shear Zone and is expanding local hiring. Following acquisition by McEwen Inc., planned 2026 activities include 15,000-20,000 metres of drilling, an updated resource estimate in Q1, and a preliminary economic assessment by year-end. |
