Description
Description | The Toronto Business Development Centre is planning to design and construct the Skills Training Centre (STC) with high standards for inclusion and accessibility as suitable for a training facility in Scarborough, Ontario. This cutting-edge, net-zero facility will address the need for experiential training programs and employability skills development. The STC will feature an industrial workshop, multi-purpose spaces and classrooms, providing hands-on and in-class training for meaningful workforce development. Designed as a multi-use hub, the STC will bring together employers, social service agencies, educational institutions and training providers, situated conveniently near the redevelopment of the Golden Mile. Through collaboration with equity-deserving, non-profit and community organizations, the STC will offer innovative programming tailored to support Scarborough’s underserved populations, fostering stronger partnerships and inclusive economic growth. |
