The project generally aimed to strengthen cooperation between the regions of Mátészalka and Carei, thereby to increase the social coherence of these regions and to establish live cooperation between the staff of the Mayor´s Offices of Mátészalka and Carei. As a result of the cooperation developed, relations between the two work organizations can get closer, providing opportunities for developing further project ideas; in addition, public service providers in further small regions can get acquainted with the project, possibly resulting in still further cooperation. There are a number of opportunities in exchanges of experiences, in joint knowledge acquisition; their impact can be primarily perceived in terms of more effective public administration and more client-centered administrative work.
