The project aims to increase public safety, pedestrian accessibility, and business activity. As part of the project, there will be a full closure of Tejon Street from Colorado Avenue to Pikes Peak Avenue for milling, paving, and striping work, with sidewalks remaining open. Additionally, a possible lane shift on northbound Tejon Street north of Pikes Peak Avenue will allow Colorado Springs Utilities to perform electric system work, including concrete removal and replacement on the southeast corner of the block. |
