Description | The Telangana government is preparing a comprehensive village development plan ahead of local body elections. The plan involves identifying and prioritizing essential tasks for each village, including outstanding projects and additional development initiatives. It covers infrastructure improvements such as roads, drainage systems, concrete paving of streets, streetlights, and community facilities like halls, libraries, sports grounds, educational institutions, health centres, and veterinary hospitals. The plan also includes funding strategies utilizing resources from the State Finance Commission, Finance Commission, centrally sponsored schemes, voluntary organizations, and NREGS. The implementation of outstanding projects will be done in stages, and information will be accessible via the Panchayat Secretary App (PS App). |
