Description | Built in 1932, the Telephérique du Salève was hailed as a pioneering achievement both technically and from the point of view of its architecture.There is today an inadequacy between aging buildings (arrival and departure station) and the rise of the equipment (84,000 passages in 2005 compared to 295 000 in 2017).Thus, these buildings are the subject of a renovation project allowing visitors to offer new accessible and qualitative premises in all seasons, in line with a new offer of activities and animation to respond to new customers.By this project, the GLCT TS finds itself in its natural space, which it wishes to preserve in its natural environment. |
