Description | The Tendrara gas project in Morocco involves the development of a gas concession with estimated reserves of 10.67 billion cubic meters of natural gas. The project is structured in two phases: Phase I includes a micro-LNG facility for treatment, liquefaction, and storage to serve Morocco's domestic industrial market with a production capacity of 100 million cubic meters per year. Phase II plans the construction of a treatment facility and a 120-kilometer pipeline connecting to the Maghreb-Europe Gas Pipeline with a targeted capacity of 280 million cubic meters per year. Phase I is in commissioning stage with first gas projected for Q3 2026, delayed from October 2025 due to inflationary pressures. Phase II is under feasibility study and final investment decision is pending. |
