Description | Tennessee State University has received approval to build a nearly 70,000-square-foot engineering building costing $50 million. The building will consolidate engineering programs and the Applied & Industrial Technology program into one complex. It will include classrooms, computer labs, and over 30 teaching and research laboratories, including specialized labs such as a Future Energy Lab, Additive Manufacturing Lab, and Drone Flight and Air Traffic Lab. Construction is expected to begin later in 2025 with completion planned for summer 2027. |
