Description | Termas de Lahuen Co S.A. operates the Termas de Lahuen Co mountain spa concession in the heart of Lanín National Park, in Argentina’s Neuquén province. The spa is in the mountains 80 kilometers from San Martín de los Andes, surrounded by lakes, at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level. The facilities include a balneotherapy building with four covered pools and a spa hot tub, expansive open-air terraces and gardens, three outdoor pools, a restaurant that seats forty people and a thematic walkway. The buildings total some 600 square meters.Termas de Lahuen Co has requested a US$750,000 loan from the IIC to build an eleven-room lodge on the site, as well as staff housing. The proceeds would also be used to purchase a turbine, a motor launch, vehicles, and furnishings. |
