Terrace - Sportsplex Retrofits

The project will enhance the heating ventilation and air circulation of the Sportplex in the City of Terrace, to ensure the public building can operate as an emergency reception centre in times of crisis. The project will address heating, cooling and ventilation which has been a long standing issue at the Sportplex, particularly the meeting rooms. Emergency response planning has identified vulnerabilities in the City for emergency response, and the biggest factor is having a reception centre that is susceptible to power outages. The Sportplex can handle hundreds of people, making it an ideal place for reception duties in times of emergency. The project works include: -Installation of a generator; -installation of a heat pump and components; and, - all related works.
