Description | The project works will include: 1. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Lagoon Inlet: - Remove/reconfigure inlet flow distribution pipe; - Design and install inlet flow distribution curtain, including anchors, floats, and submerged curtain baffle. 2. WWTP Security Fence: - Construct 1,100m long, 2.4m high chainlink fence with 300mm high barbed wire security top. 3. WWTP Inlet Screen: - Modify existing inflow chamber to accept new screens and hardware; - Supply and install 2 new screens and associated mechanical and electrical; and, - Modify chamber roof structure to suit surface debris removal. 4. Sparks Street Lift Station: - Conduct flow monitoring to confirm design inflow to lift station; and, - Replace 2 of 3 existing pumps with 2 new submersible pumps. 5. Kalum Street 2400-2500 Block Sewer Main: - Construct 270m of 350mm polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer main; - Install 4 precast concrete manholes; - Install 22 sanitary sewer connections and, - Rehabilitate roadway and boulevards disturbed by project works. 6. Graham Avenue 4800-4900 Block Sewer Main: - Construct 800m of 500mm PVC replacement sewer main; - Install 11 precast concrete manholes; - Install 60 sanitary services; and, - Reinstate roadway and boulevards disturbed by project works. |
