"The project comprises an investment in the development of renewable energy company at service of the telecommunications sector in South Sudan. The sponsor is Communication & Renewable Energy Infrastructure (CREI), which develops its Telecom Energy Service Company (TESCO) to provide energy as a service. It received funding as a bridge loan by the Facility for Energy Inclusion (FEI) of $15m, signed on June 28, 2024.
