The campus will support Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing for AI workloads. The buildout is phased, with the first gigawatt targeted to be operational by October 2027 and the second by April 2028. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, contingent on regulatory clearances. Marathon is partnering with Starwood Digital Ventures to develop and operate AI and HPC assets across selected sites. |
