The Texas Critical Data Centers (TCDC) project is a flagship data center development initiative by New Era Helium Inc. located in Ector County, Texas, within the Permian Basin Energy Corridor. The project involves phased power development with an initial phase of 200 MW supported by adjacent generation, followed by expansions to 450 MW and eventually up to 1.4 gigawatts. The project emphasizes behind-the-meter power solutions, strategic location advantages, and a partner-led development model involving Stream Data Centers and other specialized partners. The project is advancing through permitting, site readiness, leasing, and financing milestones concurrently to accelerate execution.
