Description | Texas Gas Service has proposed a 27 percent increase in residential gas rates in El Paso to recover changes in its cost of service over the last three years and to support system upgrades for safety, reliability, and environmental responsibility. The proposal would raise the average residential bill by about $10 to $14 per month. The El Paso City Council is reviewing the proposal and will finalize its position to send to the Texas Railroad Commission, which will make the final decision expected in January 2026. |
