Description | The Texas Natural Gas-Fired Power Generation Hub is a power generation project located in Anderson County, Texas. It will have up to 5.2 GW of natural gas-fired generation capacity, capable of serving up to 5 GW of large-load demand. The project is a collaboration between Comstock Resources, Inc. and NextEra Energy, Inc., with Comstock providing natural gas supply and NextEra responsible for building and operating the facility. The project is part of a joint U.S.-Japan trade agreement investment and aims to deliver dispatchable power to large-scale users such as data centers and advanced manufacturing. |
