Description

The scope of work for the Project includes the construction inside of a new administrative building (which will be built concurrently as a separate project) to transform the space (20,000 square feet) to accommodate a community facility. The Project will include program space, a living roof, cultural gardens, archeological repository, offices and meeting spaces, and related works. Creating the community space will open up opportunities for a range of community development initiatives to take place including workshops, support groups, organization meetings, classes, and events. The community facility will feature a community space, a meeting centre, citizens’ archive, a museum, supporting offices, and arts and artifacts display space for members of Williams Lake Indian Band which the general public will be able to visit and use.
