Description	The German cleantech company INERATEC and the French industrial group TERTU have formed the joint venture T.H2 to develop a synthetic fuel production plant near Caen in Normandy, France. The plant will convert locally sourced wood residues into sustainable synthetic fuels and waxes using Fischer-Tropsch technology. It will process approximately 60,000 tonnes of wood residues per year, transforming them into synthesis gas through gasification and then into synthetic hydrocarbons including e-SAF for aviation and e-Naphtha. The project is part of the BELair initiative and aims to create a circular industrial value chain in the Normandy region, contributing to decarbonization of aviation and other sectors.
