The Thacker Pass Project in Nevada by Lithium Americas is a fully funded lithium mining project critical to the U.S. electric vehicle revolution. It combines secured funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, private investments, and federal incentives to establish a domestic lithium supply chain. Construction is underway with a target to become operational by late 2027, supporting U.S. energy independence and EV demand.
