It includes the development of deep sea-ports, a 90-kilometre motorway, a railway system, and a pipeline to facilitate cargo transport between the two ports, aiming to shorten the distance for cargo currently using the Strait of Malacca and save about four transit days. The project is estimated to cost one trillion baht and aims to boost the local economy and create significant economic value and job opportunities. |
