The ABCs of Mental Health

We propose the ABCs for Mental Health project with the following overall objective: To improve mental health and well-being for disadvantaged target groups in Europe through further development and scale-out of the research-based ABCs of Mental Health model. The project specific objectives with related tasks are the following: 1) To build a model and tools for European implementation of the ABCs of Mental Health o Review and refinement/description of the ABCs of Mental Health Concept o Development of the ABCs of Mental Health implementation manual 2) To build capacity in partner and stakeholder organisations to deploy the ABCs of Mental Health o Study visits to the Danish ABCs of Mental Health HQ and local implementation sites o Deployment of national stakeholder and partner-building workshops 3) To pilot implement the developed the ABC model in 5 European countries o Development of final national implementation plan and partner group o Pilot activities (training and capacity building of local associations and partners, deploying and testing ABC tools with target populations) 4) To enhance European awareness about the ABCs of Mental Health and engage more countries and organisations in deployment and scale-out o Production of the ABCs of Mental Health online and offline marketing and campaign materials, web site, articles and blog posts o Delivery of ABC dissemination event in connection to MOVE Congress 2025 (The ABCs of Mental Health policy debates, expert exchanges, masterclass, peer-learning workshops) We have formed a strong partnership of organisations to deliver quality results, combining expertise from the research, mental health, and patients’ sectors with 5 national level piloting partners from Italy, Ukraine, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.
