The Black Pearl Holiday Home Renovation

completed

The Black Pearl is a beachfront holiday home in Bexhill, East Sussex, that underwent a remarkable transformation from a dated and fragmented building into a contemporary holiday home. The renovation addressed awkward layouts, poor first-floor extensions, and a garden that did not take advantage of its coastal position. The redesign includes light-filled communal spaces with uninterrupted sea views, a poolside retreat, and a gym, accommodating up to 12 guests in five bedrooms. The project aimed to rationalise the structure, maximise the setting, and future-proof the building as a high-quality, resilient holiday let.
