A monument-building startup, More Monuments, plans to build a 500-foot stainless steel statue of George Washington with a 150-foot concrete pedestal, totaling 650 feet in height. The statue aims to celebrate America's accomplishments and commemorate George Washington. The project is funded through private fundraising, nonprofit donations, cryptocurrency trades, sponsorships, sales of mini statues, and long-term tourism. The location is yet to be determined but is sought in the Southeast U.S. The project cost is estimated to be at least tens of millions of dollars, with $175,000 already raised. A 50-foot plaster model will be revealed on July 4, 2026, to coincide with the nation's 250th birthday.
