 Founded in 2000, TCG is South Africa’s leading courier, express, and parcel (CEP) business Company focused on last-mile logistics for customers with a nationwide footprint, offering a wide range of local courier services. IFC is being offered by Adenia Fund V a co-investment amount of US$8 million in TCG. The IFC investment will be exposed to the Company’s three operating divisions (courier, lockers and kiosks) where TCG offers extensive courier services (same day, overnight, etc.) to around 183,000 customers, made up of individuals and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and Kiosks. TCG has a collection of brick-and-mortar stores for parcel drop and collection to increase the reach of TCG’s services in 2nd- and 3rd-tier cities in South Africa. TCG also has a network of 179 kiosks and has deployed over 1,000 lockers spread around South Africa in malls, fuel stations, etc., providing a self-service pickup and drop-off offering. The Company operates owned lockers, but the warehouses and Kiosks are rented. TCG operates two main hubs both in Johannesburg and in Cape town. Kindly refer to SII link for more details.
