Description | American Ventures LLC is planning a $500 million mixed-use project called 'The District' in San Marcos, Texas. The project spans about 100 acres and includes 1,196 multifamily units, 44 townhomes, 84 single-family homes, 120 build-to-rent homes, 16 live-work-play units, a 130-room hotel, and 144,200 square feet of office, retail, and grocery space. It also includes an option for the city to purchase a 6-acre site for a minor league baseball stadium. The project is planned to be built out in three phases by 2031 and is expected to generate significant tax revenue for the city and county. |
