THE EUROPE WE WANT

The project aims to bring together again after this time of pandemic the three twin cities of Caspe (Spain), Gaillac (France), and Santa María a Vico (Italy)and once again deepen our solidarity relations in light of the events that are currently shaking Europe (the Russian invasion of Ukraine ). We also invite the city of Brad (Romania) which has close ties of friendship with our twin city of Gaillac. In this way we intend to expand our circle of friendly cities in Europe and enable cultural knowledge and relationships between our neighbors We need to deepen relations between our countries and discover what Europe we have and what Europe we need. And how we European citizens can contribute to forging the Europe we want In the activities planned for these meeting days in which citizens of the four cities will participate, we intend to debate about our european awareness, by emphasizing the role of the citizens, discovering the changes that have been made in our countries according to the EU development and also discovering the opportunities that the UE offers to European citizens In addition to common activities, focusing on issues of social participation and european awareness, we will do some work in groups activities that will bring together participants from the different countries. We want that partnerships or associations with similar characteristics of the four cities, use this meeting to start joint projects outside the official meeting. This dialogue between different sensitivities and cultures can reinforce the common work, but also of promoting social participation in different communities. For younger participants, we want to promote activities which share the vision that they have of their cities and the opportunities that the EU offers to work for their active involvement. Finally, as part of the meeting we will provide traditional games activities, excursions, guided visits, debates, lectures, etc. in order that the participants from abroad
