Description

The projects “The European identity development through culture in the process of European integration” focuses on building up an innovative Interdisciplinary Module on European Cultural Identity as part of European cultural studies; on organizing newly designed courses, based on hybrid learning to help strengthen general and specific knowledge of BA and Master levels art students about EU; due to sustainable implementation of knowledge about European cultural identity for the art student and stakeholders will be increased the involvement of the cultural sector in achieving Moldova's European integration objectives. In order to achieve our objectives the following actions are foreseen: state-of-the-art research and collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside academia and foreign experts; detailed curriculum analysis; development of new innovative curriculum in accordance with practice requirements, teaching activities, several events and dissemination of project results The dissemination strategy will help improve awareness and increase knowledge on the EU cultural studies among more learners, teachers, researchers, actors engaged in cultural governance, regional cultural development, non-profit organizations, and the wider community. About 280 people will benefit directly from the implementation of the project. The added value of this approach is that innovative learning is facilitated through digital content, attracting excellent young people from Moldova to study this subject at the Academy of Music, Theater, and Fine Arts. Produced outputs: 3 new innovative curricula in digital format reunited in 1 new Interdisciplinary module on European cultural identity, new research findings -5 peer-reviewed scientific articles, published in university journal, 2 workshops held with different groups of decision-makers in the field of culture, local councilors, representatives of civil society.
