Our project THE EUROPEAN MUSES aims to make teaching and learning in the European Union the educational horizon of our educational community and to solidify one of the basic values on which the educational project of the center is based. Convinced of a clear European and integrating vocation, we propose the development of a way of understanding Europe in which the citizens themselves are the ones who build it. We understand that this European citizenship and this inclusive concept will be achieved with an increase in the knowledge and qualitative and quantitative data of the members of the EU, of their traditions and of the basic elements of European parliamentary democracy, as well as the history of the process. The fundamental lines of the project have a multiform and complementary character. On the one hand, we intend to settle specific European Union subjects with the creation of adequate and useful materials and resources based on a practical, collaborative and interdisciplinary learning model. Along with this, we will develop collaborative activities by a significant number of educational departments in a wide spectrum of knowledge, culture and education that provide added value to the European actions of which we already have significant experience. This set of actions will have as its main axis a European Classroom as a starting point and meeting place and a European Information Point as a means of dissemination. The culmination of this learning process will be the development of mobilities to get closer to European realities and the institutions of the European Union. This project has two workspaces. We call Europe inspires the Muses in the actions that we will implement and program. On the other hand, the set Nine Months, Nine Muses intends to develop a work of diffusion and extension at the same time of evaluation to achieve a growing impact in space and time.
