Polska Fundacja im. Roberta Schumana is a civil society organisation active at EU level, devoted to European and civic education. The activities undertaken under this project in 2022 will gather a total of approx. 20.000 direct participants from approx. 23 Member States. The main objective of the project will be to communicate European affairs in an easy to understand manner as well as engage a broad spectrum of EU citizens for European integration. The Foundation aims to reach not only those who are well acquainted with European affairs, but all EU citizens. A special attention will be devoted to citizens who are not particularly interested in European affairs or who are sceptical of the European project. The primary focus of the Foundation in 2022 will be on the following: • Promoting EU citizens’ rights and Union values mentioned in Article 2 of the Treaty. • Tackling misinformation. • Promoting the EU as one of the leaders of environmental and climate action. • Engaging citizens in a discussion about the future of the EU in the face of the pandemic. A substantial part of the activities will be dedicated to inhabitants of small cities and towns. The Foundation will invite participants of different political views, acting as a platform for discussion about the future of the EU. A particular focus will be put on youth inclusion. Project will be implemented in cooperation with civil society organisations or local authorities as well as with European Clubs – non-formal groups of volunteers actively engaged in European affairs.
