Description | The second phase of West Side Square, called The Factory at WSS, involves preserving the facades of an original 1911 factory and expanding the brick component along the Broadway corridor. It includes a glass-heavy vertical expansion topping out at 18 stories, 357 residential units including 36 affordable housing units, and new restaurant spaces on the ground floor. The project also features a potential pedestrian plaza and provisions for a possible Marion PATH station. The Planning Board recommended rezoning changes in May 2025 to allow this phase to proceed, with City Council approval and site plan approval still pending. Completion is targeted for July 2028. |
