The proposal will make young Bulgarian audiences familiar with 12 new books by contemporary authors and illustrators, which through the themes of freedom, future, friendship, fear and fantasy treat the challenging aspects of identity, inclusion, diversity, and relationship to nature. It brings closer cultures that are less represented in the Bulgarian literary world, specifically among the younger generations. The proposal will make the books available as physical copies and audiobooks. The proposal will address the challenges of competitiveness in the book sector through partnering with representatives of the different parts of the value chain - authors, translators, distributors, promoters, and future professionals in the field
