Description
Description | The Fold is a 251-unit luxury apartment block in Croydon, completed in 2022, which has been found to have serious safety and structural issues including damp, mould, collapsing ceilings, and fire safety concerns. Faulty work by the now-defunct builder Henry Construction has rendered the building unsafe, requiring it to be stripped back to its concrete structure and effectively rebuilt from the inside out. Remediation work is expected to continue until at least 2027, with all residents required to vacate by March 2026. |
