Description

“The Future of Education in the age of AI” has set the ambitious aim to support the implementation of Skills Agenda as well as State of the Union President von der Leyer Report emphasis towards digital and AI in education, also European-wide Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), reinforcing European HE and contributing to the European Education Area (EEA). The overall goal is to serve as Europe‘s leading network for digital education providing highly valued research, CPD and advocating open digital learning at local, national, European and international levels by organizing high profile events: international Annual Conference focusing on challenges of AI, free webinars of annual European Open Digital Learning Week (EODLW) and Open Education Week (OEW), EDEN NAP (Network of Academics and Professionals) webinars and two open online academic publications that will attract around 50k viewers at all levels of education. PhD Symposium will support young scholars, innovative practice will be supported by EDEN awards and hundreds of issued digital badges. EDEN contributes to several EC Working Groups on Digital Education: Learning, Training and Assessment (DELTA), in the WG on Higher Education, European Digital Education Hub. A new influential ad hoc activity 2025 - EDEN Digital Education Policy paper on the most cutting-edge topic of digital education in Europe. The activities of EDEN Digital Education Leadership Academy for education leaders will be continued in open online formats. Key stakeholders will benefit from these activities, including the K12, HE, VET and adult education sectors, thousands following our events on YouTube (1.7k subscribers), Facebook (5.5k subscribers), Twitter (5.5k subscribers) and LinkedIn (5.0k subscribers). Our regular Newsflash will reach up to 13k stakeholders. The outreach of EDEN network will extend throughout Europe in supporting the vision of a high advancing digital education ecosystem.
