The Hellfire Club

“The Hellfire Club” is a narrative-led gothic horror game and a co-operative digital board game which a small group of friends (2-4 players) play together online. The game is primarily set in a modern day Dublin, Ireland, inside the infamous and haunted Hellfire Club lodge. “The Hellfire Club” mixes the elements of tabletop board games and digital horror games to create a rare experience for groups of friends that want to play a collective narrative experience together. With the support of Creative Europe funding we will complete the preproduction phase of this game. During the development process we intend to utilise the skills of our experienced team to further develop the concepts illustrated in this document with the end goal of producing a polished vertical slice prototype. We will design and build tools; develop the narrative, visual, audio and gameplay concepts; and we will produce release-quality content which will then be implemented into our prototype. This prototype will then be used to demonstrate the quality of the project to potential funding partners. The next phase will be to complete and launch the game.
