The Islands of Sicily and Malta en-twined through culture and traditions

This project will focus on the collaboration between two localities in Malta and Italy, these being Żejtun local council (ŻLC) and Comune di Avola (CDA). The idea for this project came about after both localities engaged in a number of discussions as to how their two communities could engage further. The focus here was to develop a project where the citizens of both localities can participate in debates and discussions on some of the key challenges and opportunities that their localities face. This is something that both localities have implemented in the past, primarily through town twinning projects, but also to other informal means of discussion.
