Description

Description

EUchallenges is a hub of expertise dedicated to addressing the most pressing issues facing Europe today, with a focus on strengthening European integration. By establishing a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on the Future Challenges of Europe, the project will conduct in-depth research on critical topics such as demographic shifts, geopolitical instability, economic inequalities, and climate transition. The Centre will promote academic excellence through research and collaboration, foster dialogue between academia and civil society, and generate evidence-based insights to support EU policymaking. The project will organize a wide range of activities, including seminars, conferences, workshops, and public events that encourage active citizen engagement and foster an open dialogue between the academic community and the general public. Through these events, EUchallenges aims to engage students from various disciplines, ensuring a broader understanding of European integration and encouraging participatory learning. The Centre will also utilize innovative dissemination tools such as blogs, videos, and research publications to spread knowledge and enhance the impact of its findings. By delivering knowledge and policy recommendations, the Centre will play a key role in guiding Europe’s response to current and future challenges. Through its commitment to promoting EU values such as democracy, human rights, and solidarity, the project will strengthen public diplomacy, raise awareness about the EU’s global role, and support the long-term stability and prosperity of the European Union.
