Description | The Lake House Life Experience Pavilion is a 190-square-metre pavilion located in Daning Park, Shanghai. It wraps two existing structures on the edge of a lake with facades of aluminium and ceramic panels. The pavilion contains an exhibition area, VIP rooms, and a cafe. The project was commissioned by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and was completed by Wutopia Lab. The design preserves the existing buildings and surrounding landscape, using a modular construction system to meet a 45-day completion requirement. |
