Description | Hudson Companies is converting a former Gateway Paints and Chemical Co. distribution center into The Maxx, a six-story luxury apartment building with 105 units, and a former metal recycling center into The Alex, a six-story, 129-unit luxury apartment building overlooking the Allegheny River. Both buildings will share amenities including a fitness center, sauna, yoga and golf simulator rooms, a pool, and communal lounges, with parking spaces equal to the number of apartment units. Expected completion is next spring. |
